The Drs and staff of Mountain View Dental are continuing to follow guidelines set out by WorkSafe BC and College of Dental Surgeons. We are open from Monday to Friday again by appointment only; our doors will remain locked at this time.

Our office has always utilized personal protective equipment (PPE) that has exceeded all the CDA guidelines, however, in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic we have instituted additional guidelines and protocols to ensure your safety. About Us
At Mountain View Dental Centre, we believe that every person deserves the opportunity to achieve a lifetime of excellent oral health.
We reserve time to provide comprehensive, personalized evaluations for our new patients. We thoroughly examine each patient in regards to the overall health of the teeth, supporting gum and bone, the chewing system including jaw joints and muscles and bite, and any cosmetic concerns that they may have.
This evaluation process allows us to diagnose and consult with each individual regarding their unique situation in regards to the current state of their overall dental health, as well as providing a customised risk assessment in regards to potential future issues that might likely arise.
Our commitment is to not only provide care for emergent and urgent problems, but also help our family of patients to understand their existing risks, such that they can become proactive in their dental care treatment choices for the future.

Dr. Dan Demmings
Dr. Dan Demmings graduated from Dalhousie University Faculty of Dentistry in Halifax, Nova Scotia following completion of a BSc. in Biology at UNB.
Dr. Darin Green
Since graduating from the University of Alberta in 2007, Dr. Darin Green has enjoyed every moment of life in Fernie. He is proud to offer comprehensive dental care for all ages
Training
Trained By the Best
Both Dr. Green and Dr. Demmings and have trained at the world-renowned Kois Center in Seattle.
Dr. Demmings was awarded mentor status in 2006 and in 2010 he was invited to become a Clinical Instructor at the Center.
Dr. Green will be a graduate of the Kois Centre after fully completing the course.
The Kois philosophy of patient care is implemented in everything we do Mountain View Dental Center for the long-term benefit of our patients.
The Kois Center is the only continuing education program in North America conducting and publishing independent research. Every course is updated each year based on new scientific evidence.
