Straighter, Healthier Smiles

We want you and your children to have straight teeth and healthy, beautiful smiles. For many people, orthodontic treatment can help correct oral health issues such as crowded or crooked teeth or a misaligned bite.

Having orthodontic issues treated is an important part of maintaining your oral health. Crowded and crooked teeth are harder to keep clean, resulting in a greater likelihood of developing cavities and gum disease.

Not only can your oral health suffer due to poor tooth alignment, but a misaligned bite can cause teeth to wear down. A poorly aligned bite can also lead to clenching and grinding causing the muscles of the head and neck to become overworked, resulting in headaches, migraines, and jaw joint pain.

Traditional Braces

Traditional braces, made of either metal or ceramic, have been used for decades to straighten teeth. In recent years, advances in orthodontic treatment have resulted in braces that are much smaller, less noticeable, more comfortable, and easier to care for.

How Braces Straighten Teeth

Braces apply continuous pressure to the teeth over a period of time, usually months or years, slowly moving them into their new, corrected positions.

As pressure is applied and the teeth move, the jaw bone changes shape to accommodate the new positions of the teeth.

During your orthodontic treatment with braces, you will visit the dentist regularly to have them tightened. This ensures that there is always continual pressure being applied to your teeth so they will eventually become straighter.

Invisalign Clear Aligners

Invisalign can help you achieve a straighter smile without metal brackets or wires. A series of individually customized, clear plastic aligners will be created for you. Your treatment plan will specify the precise movement of your teeth to occur with each set of aligners, which you'll replace every two weeks.

Because they are clear, Invisalign aligners allow you to straighten your smile discreetly. In fact, many people may not notice you are wearing them.
